Troy Gronsdahl, Remai Modern, Associate Curator: “The theme for this year’s LUGO event is based on the concept of movement. This relates to the gallery’s physical transition but more importantly to ideas of collective action, movement in art through dance, film, performance, movement as a discrete section of music or poetry, and the idea that art can be a moving experience or cathartic”
A series of three different sized posters were created in response to the poem SRFS by Brendan Flaharty. What’s the poem and the poster about? “Everything is a copy of something else, if you look hard enough or learn enough or experience enough.”
